Recent Fund Raising
On Saturday 4th September 2021 Carers from the Willingdon/Polegate area met together to share a cuppa and a slice of cake while taking part in a Clothes Swap to raise some much needed funds for Care for the Carers.
Carers Week 2020 - "Making Caring Visible"
As part of Carers Week we held an Online Zoom Event, talking about relaxation.
Thanks to everyone who joined in to make our event fun. I'm happy to arrange other events for you so just let me know
Remember to use what we learnt to get a bit of relaxation into your busy day! Let me know if you want any other sessions, I'm very happy to organise.
During these strange times -
If there are any Carers in the Willingdon/Polegate area who would usually like to come along to our British Queen Group, Care For the Carers are running a virtual monthly Zoom meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Several of us are keeping in touch via a weekly Tuesday afternoon Zoom Meeting - if you would like to find out more just let me know.
We hope to soon be holding Face to Face Groups again soon, I'm in the process of organising a new Wellbeing Group for Carers local to Polegate and Willingdon. Watch this space and if you want more details or have ideas let me know.
I am pleased to offer a reduction of £5 per treatment to Carers on production of your Carers Card., from personal
experience I understand how important it is, but also how difficult it can be to get time to yourself - situations change
very quickly and because of this I don't charge a short-notice cancellation fee to Carers, providing you let me know
an hour before your appointment time.
Having been helped a greatly by CftC over the years I'm now a proud Ambassador for this fabulous organisation and always
happy to chat about any help they could offer should you find yourself in this situation.
Please phone (01323) 489229 for a chat regarding treatments and to arrange your appointment.
Please mention your Carers Card when making your booking.
I was shocked to be nominated and totally amazed to reach the finals in the
Carer of The Year category!
